What do you think of this poem?

I hear an echo from far away
So distant, and yet so near
It ripples on the edge of sound
But rings forth, strong and clear

I hear it on the brim of noise
Amid the fury and the storm
It carries with it soothing notes
A solace for the forlorn.

A wave of something from the sea
Accompanied by wind and salt
I can barely taste the rhapsody;
A song, a siren’s trick that calls.

It screams for you and shouts for me
A sweetly desperate melody.
That yearns for things it cannot have
And to the deep my body leans.

Feelings swift do overwhelm
Sadness from the requiem.
It offers dreams and cool respite
From my pain and shadows dim.

But from this song I turn away
Disinterested in falsities.
I’ve seen the truth; this cry is short
Of anything that it would seem.

Answer :
haunting... I really like it.
The most powerful lines for me are:
Feelings swift do overwhelm
Sadness from the requiem

Which cruise to choose as a single cruiser. 14 nights in southern Caribbean or 14 nights to ausy and new zeal?

14 nights to southern caribbean with celebrity constellation of celebrity cruises
14 nights to australia and new zealand with Rhapsody of the seas of Royal Caribbean

Answer :
Hi Gio,

It really depends on how warm you wish for the cruise to be, as the cruise between Australia and NZ could tend to get a bit colder than the one in the Caribbean waters.

I know personally I would recommend going to cruise the Caribbean. There are so many islands to see there and there's a real diverse range of people who take these tours most of the year so you'll meet a wide range of people. That said, there's always a great selection of different people taking cruises so its sure to be a wonderful experience on either cruise. While Royal Caribbean Cruises are excellent, I would go with 14 nights to the southern caribbean on the celebrity constellation!

I hope this helps you out some! All the best with your cruise.

Answer :
AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND cruises.
Start at $2904 for a 15 day cruise.

There are others that are offering the discounted rate for single cruiser. Good Luck!

R&P: Let's hide Queen's Greatest Hits CD, and really listen to them?

It seems when you mention Queen on here, you get the same songs, and the lists look just like the back of the Greatest Hits.

My question to you all is, what are your favorite songs that AREN'T included on a greatest hits disc, and I'll even put a list of the ones that are on that CD, so no one is confused...

1. "Bohemian Rhapsody" (from A Night at the Opera, 1975) Freddie Mercury 5:55
2. "Another One Bites the Dust" (from The Game, 1980) John Deacon 3:36
3. "Killer Queen" (from Sheer Heart Attack, 1974) Mercury 2:57
4. "Fat Bottomed Girls" (single version, from Jazz, 1978) Brian May 3:16
5. "Bicycle Race" (from Jazz, 1978) Mercury 3:01
6. "You're My Best Friend" (from A Night at the Opera, 1975) Deacon 2:52
7. "Don't Stop Me Now" (from Jazz, 1978) Mercury 3:29
8. "Save Me" (from The Game, 1980) May 3:48
9. "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" (from The Game, 1980) Mercury 2:42
10. "Somebody to Love" (from A Day at the Races, 1976) Mercury 4:56
11. "Now I'm Here" (from Sheer Heart Attack, 1974) May 4:10
12. "Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy" (from A Day at the Races, 1976) Mercury 2:54
13. "Play the Game" (from The Game, 1980) Mercury 3:33
14. "Flash" (single version, from Flash Gordon, 1980) May 2:48
15. "Seven Seas of Rhye" (from Queen II, 1974) Mercury 2:47
16. "We Will Rock You" (from News of the World, 1977) May 2:01
17. "We Are the Champions" (from News of the World, 1977)

Aaaand, to make this question even ridiculously longer, I'll throw a few links at those of you who don't really want to look any of the lesser known songs up.
