Answer :
All food on most cruise lines is free, with the exception of the specialty restaurants on board. These are restaurants where each person is charged a fee of anywhere from $20-$30 per person. We don't go to the specialty restaurants because the food on RCCL ships is great.

Also, there is never a charge for the 24-hour room service. We always give a small tip to whoever delivers the food from room service, though.

Hope this helps.

Answer :
Food in the main buffet and dining room are included. Room service should be included, but I believe there's a delivery fee between midnight and 5:00 am. If there's any specialty restaurants, those have a cover charge that's extra.

Any drinks other than water, iced tea, lemonade, and tea and coffee (at the drinks station) are extra as well. All drinks have a 15% service charge added to the price.

Have fun, you'll have an awesome time!

Is there anything to do at night for teens at royal caribbean rhapsody of the seas?

Is there anything to do at night for teens at royal caribbean rhapsody of the seas?

Answer :
They have all sorts of things going on for teens on RCCL ships.

When you get on the ship sign up at the Purser's Desk for the Teen Program. They do all the rest.

At night, one of the things you can do is go to the Teen Disco or go the nightly shows in the show lounges.

Hope you enjoy your cruise.

Answer :

Have any fellow aussies travelled on the Rhapsody of the Seas recently. How do you rate the ship ?

Answer :
I'm not an Australian, but the Rhapsody was stationed in Galveston, TX (near where I live) for a few years and I know the ship pretty well. The last time I was aboard was a year and a half ago, and it's a very pretty ship with lots of artwork. It's a pretty clean ship and has never had a (reported) outbreak of Norwalk or Legionnaire's.

It's not a terribly old ship in the first place (only 12 years old I think this year) and it's already been drydocked for rehab twice - quite impressive maintenance on what is, after all, one of the smaller ships in RCI's current fleet.

The main dining room is the 2-story variety, situated quite low in the ship (deck 4 & 5) which is nice for reducing sway during dinner.

I rather liked the size of the ship, which at 75,000 tons & 2400 passengers, is large enough to not make people seasick, and yet not so large that there's long lines for everything. However, it doesn't have some of the features of the largest ships in the fleet - there's no movie theater, skating rink, surfing, bowling, billiards, etc aboard. The casino is quite small.

We've always had great service aboard Rhapsody, the only first-hand knowledge I have of an unhappy passenger was my mother, who once paid extra for one of the aft balconies (which are much larger than the regular balconies) on the starboard side of the ship. Turns out they burn garbage at nights, and the smoky soot was often obscuring her view.

Answer :
Havent been on this one personally but heres a little something..
The multilevel Centrum is the hub of this ship. It's an airy, light-filled atrium with gliding glass elevators, palm trees, panoramic windows, gleaming brass, and chairs and low tables placed in cozy groupings. Most passengers gather here for a pre-dinner cocktail as live music plays in the background. Other popular spots include the convivial Schooner Bar, the elegant Champagne Bar and the Solarium, a serene, glass-enclosed pool area with a retractable ceiling. The Viking Crown Lounge is a Royal Caribbean signature; floating 11 decks above the ocean, it's an observation point by day and a pulsating dance club at night. There's also a casino and show lounge. Go for a seaside jog on the top deck, spend a few pampering hours at the spa or work out with a view at the ShipShape Fitness Center. The Windjammer Café is a casual alternative to the formal, two-level Edelweiss Dining Room.

They rate the ship 4 1/2 stars out of 5....Very good!

CRUISE SHIP QUESTION?

IM going to alaska from seattle which ship shoul i take rhapsody of the seas or carnival spirit
JUST PICK ONE DONT SAY"OH GO TO VANCOUVER" JUST PICK ONE BETTER SHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please....

Answer :
No need to shout. If I were going to cruise to Alaska, I wouldn't choose either of those ships, but they are popular. Someone I know just went on the ROS to Alaska and had a nice trip. However, he liked the pre-cruise excursions he planned himself from Anchorage to Denali better than the cruise itself.

You can do some research and get many more opinions on these two ships than you'll get here. Go to CruiseCritic.com, click on "Boards", then "Member Reviews" and find these two ships.

Answer :
I would go with the Rhapsody of the Seas. The prices are lower then the Spirit cruises. Click on the site below for all the deals!

Hope I helped!

Answer :
it definatley depends on your style. Carnivals are great! They are bery modern. But Rhapsody is very pretty too! If you are looking for fancy cruises! Carnivals are lots of family cruises

Answer :
I have not been on either of these ships, but I have been on Royal Caribbean and Carnival. I like Royal Caribbean better.
